The zero-power sewage plant inspired by cows

Untreated sewage results in poor sanitation and illness world wide. Its results are felt strongly in India, and Bangalore resident Tharun Kumar turned to cows for an answer.

With assist from the Biomimicry Institute, he has designed and constructed 50 sustainable sewage vegetation that work in the same technique to a cow’s abdomen. The system has no transferring components, so does not require any energy or individuals to function it.
