Adidas to sell Reebok to US firm Authentic Brands Group

German sportswear large Adidas stated Thursday it has agreed to promote its ailing Reebok unit to the US firm Genuine Manufacturers Group in a deal 2.1 billion euros ($2.5 billion).

Adidas purchased Reebok in 2006 however introduced that it might offload the model in February this 12 months after struggling to carry the model’s fortunes.
